ENTRY FEATURE // GARDEN // RECREATIONAL
Niagara-on-the-Lake, with its rich history and picturesque landscapes, has long been a gem in Ontario’s wine country. The Heritage District Entry Feature is envisioned to celebrate and amplify this heritage, offering a striking first impression that encapsulates the essence of the town. Drawing deeply from the historical and cultural identity, this project is a gateway that not only symbolizes the visual beauty of Niagara-on-the-Lake but also serves as a beacon of its storied past and vibrant present within Niagara Region.
Situated at the main intersection of Queen Street and Mississauga Street, the main feature of the project is the 22m [72ft] linear dry-stone wall. Stretching 2.9m [9.5ft] at its highest point, the wall includes the Town Crest and Heritage District signage.
