In conjunction with the city, SDG developed and designed a park that offers a range of activities for all ages. Cedarvale Park serves as a focal point for the surrounding community and creates a sense of place. Amenities in Cedarvale Park include two unique play areas, fitness equipment, a shade pavilion, walkways with various seating, and open space. Inside the two play areas, different structures are offered where site users of all ages can challenge themselves in various ways. The site embraces a natural aesthetic using natural stone retaining walls, planted terraces, and natural playground equipment. SDG was onboarded by the City of Guelph to perform full landscape architectural services for Cedarvale Park, starting in 2018 and construction finished in 2020.
